QuickBooks profit and loss report, month by month

The profit and loss detail in QuickBooks lists every transaction behind your P&L. Superlytix turns it into a monthly view: net profit against last year, where the money goes by account, which customers bring in the income, and your margin. Each number shows exactly which accounts it adds up.

Questions

How are income and expenses told apart?

By the account type of each line. You can see and adjust the logic of every number in plain words, for example "Net profit = Income − Cost of goods sold − Expenses".

Can my bookkeeper use this for several clients?

Yes. Each client is a separate project, and next month you swap in the new export and refresh.

Does it change anything in QuickBooks?

No. Superlytix only reads the file you upload.
